Road Rally Checkpoint Clock
An app for use as a clock during Time-Speed-Distance road rallies.
The Richta Rally Checkpoint Clock is an application designed as a timing device for use at checkpoints during Time-Speed-Distance road rallys. It can also be used as a time reference for Class B or "Seat of the Pants" rally classes.When the "Split" button is pressed the clock records the time of the split in a scrollable log area at the bottom of the display. Log entries can be reviewed by scrolling the screen and individual log entries may be deleted. The clock can be dynamically changed to record in seconds or hundredths of a minute (decimal minutes). A facility is provided to adjust the time of day clock independently of the devices clock so that the app can be synchronized to an external time reference without changing the devices clock.The accuracy of the clock over time, sometimes called drift, depends on the accuracy of the underlying hardware. I have had very good results using this on my Galaxy Tab. You should check your device before using this app on an event.Added a preference to name the checkpoint. This name is included in the file name of the log.

Thank you, Rich! Nice update. This is the Road Rally checkpoint clock to use. Times in seconds (now optional tenths of seconds) or hundredths of a minute. You can adjust the clock easily to match the rallymaster's time. Easy to use, easy to read. It works.
No menu appears. No help even on web.
Same issue as above, however I am using the galaxy Tab E, and hitting the multitasking mode (split screen button) just says "this app doesn't support split screen view"
Downloaded on my Galaxy S5 and there was no way to change any settings. There was only a clock and split times. No way to adjust TOD or base 60 vs 100. It worked correctly on other Android devices, but not my Galaxy S5.
Changing clock time from default device clock is a little confusing, and would really like to have a landscape option with a bigger clock. Otherwise works great!
I've used it for timing vehicles during a rally. It performed perfectly, and made my job easy to do, even with 6 cars coming at once!. I highly recommend it. The dev is friendly and quick to respond.
